Driving in to Yosemite National Park, we stopped to take in Tunnel View
We went on the fun less traveled road to Mirror Lake:
It's mostly dried up this time of year. Lydia's favorite moment was crossing these ice cold waters.
Lower Yosemite Falls
We climbed the rocks to feel the mist on our faces
We stopped to talk to some ranger climbing experts and spotted some rock climbers on 'the nose' route of El Cap
El Capitan
Half Dome sculpted by glaciers
On the last full day we rented bikes and really enjoyed the full valley loop
When do you get to take a bike ride like this?!
chapel and half dome on bike route
Camp Curry was a great place to stay for 3 nights in Yosemite Valley
Every night around 8, the kids put on a show with their new friends.
We sat in the audience and could also see the sun set on half dome.
On our last full day, we visited Michel David Winery in Lodi for lunch at their market cafe. It was delicious!
I enjoy the vineyard scenery almost as much as the mountains, and there were the biggest vineyards I'd ever seen, driving through Napa!
We were so close, we stopped at the Jelly Belly factory on the way to the airport.
They didn't have all these beans at the Jelly Belly tour in Pleasant Prairie!
The factory was up and running for our tour.
