Two Years Old
'Visited the doctor for the 2 yr well visit today and didn't need any shots! :) Dr. Kim is new to the practice, but really nice. We'll definitely request her for the new baby. Lydia weighed in at 23 lbs 13 oz and measured 32'' long. That's only a two-pound gain and one-inch increase from 6 months ago, but she's as healthy and happy as can be. We love our little Lydia!

Last Moments as an Only Child
I feel like taking a pause to focus on Lydia. The holidays have well settled, Lydia's birthday is just about passed, and soon enough I'll have a new baby. Time really flies! And when that baby arrives, oh maybe, 96% of my attention will be poured over her. Already, the title of this blogsite has changed from 'Lydia Marie' to ' The Pulley Family.' Already, Lydia has lost lap space on Mommy to the new baby; but soon all of Mommy's lap space, arm space, brain space, etc... is going to be gone to the new baby! So right now I give my full attention to Lydia by taking various looks at her life, titled, Last Moments as an Only Child. Enjoy.

After a bath time filled with sorting and stacking foam letters, and emptying and filling and emptying and filling cups, Lydia is warmly wrapped up in her hippo bath towel.
Just another day Skyping with Grandma Linda over toast that she magically made pop out of the toaster by saying, "Pop!"
Lydia watched a Dora episode on haircuts and then came to me saying, "I want haircut!" But here she's probably thinking, "Is this really what I asked for?"
"Aagh!" Lydia loves going in the basement and playing in her tent house. She brings items in and out and in and out, and does the same poking her head in and out and in and out of doors, or pressing her nose up against the window looking for me to pop around the corner.
Stickers stickers, so much fun; Press them down, one by one.
She puts them on her hand, on her shirt, on her foot, on my cheeks, and the couch, on the window, on my feet demanding that I remove my socks first, even if I worry they might get cold. She can be a little bossy now that she is able to say what she wants.

"Yipee! I can cover my shirt with them!"
This is Lydia getting creative in the kitchen. Ha! I think we have sauteed marshmallow and spaghetti skewers tonight for the main course. How precious :)
