Father's Day Weekend

We had a great time having Charlotte and Fiona over for a sleepover Friday night!

A red wagon ride around the yard is as fun as a hay rack ride for these littles!

We took a morning trip to the zoo on World Giraffe Day.
Abigail reached up to feed him and got a funny face :P
Did you know that a giraffe's tongue is longer than a Fruit-by-the-Foot!?
Charlotte said she wanted to feed the giraffe too!
18 months and loves to climb!
Close encounter with the birds, too!

Putting together a puzzle

Happy Father's Day to this man who leads our family in love in a multitude of ways every day and makes us feel so blessed!

Splash Pad

We met up with Stacy for lunch in Cedarburg for her birthday! Stacy picked a good spot... Out and Out Eatery, with the Sprecher root beer, outdoor seating and rocks close by, it was perfect.
We planned to go to the Cedarburg pool after lunch, but found out when we got there that it was the last day of Spring hours and not open! So then we ventured over to Hickory Park in Jackson where they have a really fun splash pad!
Running around and hugging palm trees
Splash!

These girls were trying to get me all wet with their hugs! :)

The birthday girl needs to get wet too! ;)
Twists and Braids

Last Day of School!

Amazing Awesome Anticipated Last day of School!!
Lydia's excited for some freedom, and Abigail is a sideways thumb (they use up, down, and sideways often in her classroom).

Lydia is proud: that she can read what time it is on clocks, she knows how to do multiplication, of reading a level P book (Amelia Bedelia Goes Wild chapter book) and her increased reading stamina, that she passed Level 2 swimming lessons, of how she handled losing 2 of her friends (Amber and Laila moved), that she can start swinging all on her own and can cross a whole set of monkey bars.

still a confident girl and growing taller!

Abigail is proud of: Math Mix-it-Up (was in challenging math group in another class and was nervous, but survived), zipping her zipper, reading and writing (she has taken off, level a-g! Monthly journal is so sweet!), learning songs for concert. Wants to be a baby teacher because they are so cute.
losing that baby face and growing inches!

Kindergarten Picnic
On Thursday they did outdoor game stations all morning and invited parents to join for lunch with a dirt pudding dessert :)

We already got some beach time in before the end of the year. These girls are always happy to just play in the sand!
