Grandma & Her Two Sisters

We were blessed to have Grandma Jan & her two sisters, Lisa and Diane, stop by for a visit.

Abigail enjoyed the extra attention and Lydia got picked up from school by the whole parade of us.

Then they got spoiled with gifts that turned them into picture-painting and necklace-making machines!

Thanks for paying us a visit. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Melt My Heart!

Spring has Arrived

This warm weather gave the girls washing power.  They washed Daddy's car, then my car, and then they still weren't through!

 They got out their vehicles and suds them up with fervor.

 Me: "Abigail, look here." Abigail: "I can't, I'm busy!"

 We found a new playground, Kayla's Playground in Franklin.

Our favorite neighbors came over to play and get marshmallow sticky,
closing out the weekend with our first little bonfire of the season.

Spring also means finding our favorite riding toy

 and having races in the cul-de-sac.

And a Spring Baptism Birthday. God's blessing to you, sweet girl!

How We Spent our Spring Break!

We nurtured our inner artists.

We climbed a hill off the Drexel Town Square path and saw what we could see.

We did bubbles at story time with college friend-now South Milwaukee Children's Librarian Stephanie.

We met up with Audrey, Jack and Amy for a game of bowling.

We drank root beer and counted trolls at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb. 

We toured the National Landmark, Cave of the Mounds.

 We saw the biggest stalagmite in Wisconsin.

 We thought the cave was awesome!

 We played scientists at Franklin Library and were amazed with our lava lamp.

 We played at Chasing Tales.

We held 'Baby Quincy' in our lap.

We piled into the car for a sleepover.

 We played with cousins and spent an entire day in PJs.

We enjoyed a little mother-daughter outing of sharing a bagel, shopping and smelling all the Yankee candles in the store.
