Happy Easter/Caddo Lake

We decorated eggs, made ressurection rolls, and egged our neighbor before our 2 nights camping.

Wild flower season
We had a good site with good neighbors!
Bella and her family moved from WI to the Austin area 2 years ago. The kids ran back and forth between our sites, we hung out by their fire, and the dogs even had enormous fun!

Boat tour on Caddo Lake.
Guide Rich ("Are you Rich?") showing us that in October, all the creepy bald cypress trees are beautiful orange. It was a little cold, so we didn't see any alligators.

The flea market is 1st and 3rd weekends and very interesting! We all found a thing or 2, even Rio!

A hiking trail had lots of bridges and spring green perfect for a "nature bath."

Our new tent was wonderfully spacious. On Sunday morning, the girls found eggs all over the campsite.
Some eggs were easy, others difficult to find. The girls loved cruising down hill from the bathrooms on their scooters.

When we got home, we unloaded, found baskets (Peeps!), and watched prerecorded service on YouTube.
Happy Easter!

Looks like a wonderful Easter. And bet the tent seemed ENORMOUS after the little one in the Keys:)
