Looking patriotic

Houston's Museum of Natural History was open and spacious.

The Herzstein Foucault Pendulum is always a draw.
It was first exhibited at the world's fair in Paris and is a visual demonstrations of the Earth's rotation.
They waited and watched the pendulum knock down 2 pins.

Glowing Geodes!
The Gem Vault is like walking through an ultra fancy jewelry store.
Extra security noted.
Wearing the Crown Jewels

Picnic lunch outside

The girls' favorite exhibit was the energy show of Energy City!
(Abby took the video)

Triceratops
Walking back to the parking lot through the Centennial Gardens

We had quite the show in our front and back yards.

Happy 4th of July!
