Winterfest, Bowling Field Trip & More

Grandma Jan & Grandpa Bruce came up to celebrate the girls' birthday and brought lots of gifts!
We went out for an awesome brunch at Sabrosa's in Bay View.

Then we bundled up and enjoyed Winterfest in Oak Creek!
 Tandem Snowshoeing?

Catching classmate Andrea in matching Elsa hats!
Good thing it wasn't an oddly warm day, because ice activities (mini golf, bag toss, building blocks, dremel-ing your name, sculptures) were the meat and bones of the festivities.

Plus sled dogs and a market and face painting inside.
Later that day after Gma & Gpa left, Lydia read with her big furry pillow,
and Abigail spent some time converting her "movie theater" into an organized room. (Her room got carried away with their imaginations!)

Just a picture of the 3-5 y.o. and 1st-3rd grade Sunday School classes that Lydia & Abigail attend. We are blessed with devoted and caring teachers that enjoy sharing the stories of the Bible and love of Jesus with these kids every week!

I've been helping in Mrs Benz' classroom 1-2 x/month with sharpening pencils, cutting paper shapes, helping the kids with their writing. Abigail always loves to have me there and I get lots of quick hugs. This Wednesday I chaperoned their bowling field trip.
Teagan, Morgan, Abby, Lane 14 :)

There were a lot of kids on the floor a lot of the time...crazy Kindergartners.
Abby's force came from a pushing technique. She had a score of 94! It was a good time. It's so nice to chaperone/help in the classroom because it  makes it easier to understand her school life. With Lydia in 2nd grade, I appreciate being able to drop in the classroom and have her show me her growth binder (BTW-I'm impressed with her goal-setting!).
