The Fourth of July in Oak Creek

We met friends to watch the Fourth of July parade.
Who's coming? The kids were pretty cute and enjoyed the parade (and gathering candy).

We were happy to see neighbors riding in the Boy Scouts float!
Waving the American flag, proudly made by Eder Flag in Oak Creek.
The celebration continued at the Legion after the parade. Free ice cream and games.

Ready to Race!
The cutest little patriotic potato sack race!!
Still able to eat corn on the cob despite missing teeth.
It's fun to be out with the community for the holiday. Back at home the girls made some art while we grilled.
Chalk Art by Lydia

We went to the Middle School to see the fireworks too! We passed the time till dusk with Go Fish and clowning around with glow jewelry. Fun family time!

Almost dark and the show began. Abigail got just a little sleepy, but they really enjoyed it!
Happy Independence Day!

Big day and looking extremely patriotic head to toe - love the fancy face painting.
