Day 2-Epcot!
We were one of the first ones in the park, there early and hungry because "the Royal Pulley family" had reservations for a princess storybook breakfast at Akershus.
As we made our way there, Lydia had her camera out and was taking lots of pictures.

When we met Belle at the entrance to the restaurant, Lydia took Belle's portrait and showed it to her...and all the rest of the pictures on her camera! Belle was highly curious about this "picture taking machine." I can't help but love how the characters come to real life!
There was a European breakfast buffet and family style proteins. The princesses came to our table.
The girls talked to Cinderella again.
The royal banquet hall was a beautiful medievel castle setting.
Ariel in her human form stopped by.
Then all the little girls paraded around the hall. Abigail was so happy to get a princess' hand to hold!
Alice was properly polite and even fixed Abigail's shoe.
After our dining experience in Norway we gallivanted back to the big ball since the World Showcase didn't open till 11. Photo Pass photographers were stationed all around the parks. This picture was taken by one of them-

family fun at Epcot |
In The Land building, we took an educational boat voyage and pressed some souvenir pennies. The wait for other rides were long, so we went back to the World Showcase.
We met Mulan in China. I believe she said her earrings were given to her by her grandmother for her wedding. The girls loved them.
We met funny Jasmine in Morroco...
...with Aladdin who was a lot of fun. Lydia and Aladdin are pretending they're on a magic carpet ride.
We wanted to keep going around the World Showcase to meet Snow White and Aurora, but we had a fast pass with Turtle Talk we didn't want to miss. So we took the ferry directly across the lake, eating our sack lunch during the trip. Five seconds after we got off it started to rain. We bolted to the nearest shop, donned our ponchos, and continued on to interact with Crush, the turtle from Nemo.
The kids sat up front for Q&A. Lydia got called on to ask her question. Crush responded with this-
That was cool that he said her name so much, Dude!
The girls viewed the manatee tank before "The Seas with Nemo" clamobile ride. After that, we did the rider switch thing with the exhilarating ride, "Soarin'." Abigail took that time to nap on a shoulder. Then she continued to nap in the back of the reclined stroller while we visited the classic Mickey gang:
Lydia added Mickey's autograph to her book.
Lydia danced with Goofy!
This is Goofy's hot dog dance ;)
Posing with Minnie.
Just across the Innovations building was a secret character spot just for Disney Visa cardholders. So we stopped there also for a little meet and dance and got to take home a 5x7. Too bad Abigail was still sleeping, but I was not about to wake her up!
We went back to our resort, around the colossal Ursula, up to our room, to change into our swim suits. Lydia had been asking when we could go in our pool all day.
Revived from her nap, Abigail had a blast in the water.
Zero entry Big Blue Nemo Pool was fun.
I got out early so I could wrap them in towels as soon as they got out of the heated pool. The air felt frigid. They wanted to swim and splash a long time after I was ready for them.
In their pool robes, we walked back through the resort lobby during what must have been shift change because the staff were group singing and dancing. We stopped to watch. Lydia joined in at the end and two cast members started to talk to her. Lydia was so excited to tell them about her day and show them the autographs she had collected. They talked for a while and then one said to wait while she got something for her. She brought a princess balloon and flower for Lydia. What a magical touch!
Dinner in the cafeteria, then off to bed. Our Little Mermaid room had clam shell headboards with oyster bed lights. A painting of Eric. Under the sea hooks and mirror, etc.
Abigail slept in the pack'n'play last night, but it wound up Ben & Lydia in one bed and me & Abigail in the other for the rest of the week.
