At The Zoo

Lydia has a CD with a song that goes, "Do you want to go to the zoo, Lydia; do you do you do you do you?...You can see a chimpanzee, Lydia...There's lots for you to see and do."
So when we asked her if she wanted to go to the zoo last week, she was very excited; "Like my song!" she said.
I see two zebras and a rhino.
"That's not a rhino, Mom. That's Abigail."
Oh, you're right.
Viewing the lions.
Peacocks were everywhere! These two were engaging in a showy dance!

The grizzly bears looked so cute. My better judgement kept me from climbing over the fence to snuggle with them.

"Look! A hippo!" Where? Oh, her cracker.
You probably noticed us all bundled up. Because it was cold! But the penguins were in their element.
Still gotta love Milwaukee, eh?

Well, it's cold in Illinois as well...but we have our fingers crossed for a heat wave beginning April 19th! Doesn't look like the girls notice the cold one bit...they are true Wisconsonites already.
