Memorial Day Weekend

We had some hot weather.
The girls pet a snake, turtle, and alligator at the zoo.

Abigail wants a butterfly picture every time.

At Gma Jan & Gpa Bruce's house, the girls played on the river!
looking at the geese or ducks
Ride in the fold up boat!
Looks like Lydia's pulling all the weight!
Exciting...these girls got to pull up 2 fish!

 Art time
Love the tire swing! I'm not as good a pusher as Uncle Dan, but they'll take me...

We went to Addie's Alleman HS graduation party and ceremony (held at Augustana).
Off to Notre Dame for Finance/Business...Congratulations...it'll be fun to see how far you go!

Explored new Lake Vista Park in Oak Creek...not officially open yet.

Unicorns, Royals, Daddy & Me

The kids choice theme for this year's Daddy/Daughter dance at Deerfield was Unicorn! They posed for pictures before heading out:

What a wonderful daddy who'll take his girls to a squealing girly dance party!

According to Lydia, this is "Unicorn Face" (I didn't know that was a thing either...)
Cue the balloon arches, snacks, giant inflatable unicorns, music, face painting, projectors, twirls...
Commemorative Photos They Brought Home:
Abby probably made Daddy dance till he was dizzy.
Lydia also had fun with her friends at the dance (Bella, Elizabeth, Natalia).

Wonderful as their daddy is-and he is, these girls have a more wonderful daddy. Stay with me...
Early the next morning, the royal wedding (Megan & Prince Harry) was broadcast on TV. While we watched Megan become an heir to the throne, we remembered that we too are royalty because our heavenly father is the Risen King!

Mother's Day @ Bookworm Gardens

This year, my mom got to have her 3 girls together on Mother's Day!
We went to church together and took a picnic lunch to Bookworm Gardens. (Highlight for me was having Lydia help me make and wrap up the chicken salad croissant sandwiches to take)

All the kids have so much fun exploring the fanciful gardens!
They just love washing Harry the Dirty Dog, EVERY TIME!

APRIL in WI

Happy 1st Birthday, Levi! He got to celebrate with all his monkey cousins and family!

Levi turned 1 on April 6 and Grandma turned 66 on April 10th

Did some belated Easter activities and Abby adores the baby chocolate bunnies

Ben stealing the camera...
Lydia did this at school with a partner. So happy that she sees herself positively!

Went through the Harley Davidson Museum on Milwaukee Day (April 14th, homage to 414 area code).
Lots of cool stuff to see (technical engine stuff, history, old bikes and side cars), but nothing beats hopping on some real Harleys!

And then find odd places to pretend sleep

Born to Ride

Abigail was invited to her friend, McKenzie's spa birthday party. It was so girly and fun, the moms all agreed we could use a grown up version! When they arrived, there were racks of dresses for them to put on, then they painted their nails, each got an up do with glitter,

there were mannequin heads to style, music and dancing, they made their own little bottles of lotion, and a fashion show as a finale!
Runway Walk
Twirl!

Kindergarten Classmates: Morgan, McKenzie, Avery, Abby

Then, in late April, we got a snowstorm! A nice wet packing snow. Hard to see, but they built a good solid fort with ice door mat and flat screen TV. It was only 2 days before it was completely melted away.

Now Spring has Sprung!

Stacy & Family have moved from Mequon to Cedarburg. We got to help while the girls had a "Grandma Weekend" filled with quality cousin playtime and came home with these cute custom creations!

Stopped to admire the rainbow on our way out to school...Nice way to start the day! We are already counting down the days to summer alphabetically backwards (Y-yellow day today)

HoCo 2026

Ready for mum Friday  Abby asked her friends to go to HoCo with her at lunch with signs. Sophie & Adley said yes, of course We took pics...
