It was a beautiful morning to go out to Lakeview Aquatic Center for the toddler swim on Saturday.

 

 We LOVE you and truly couldn't ask for a better dad. Mwah!

No, that wasn't a typo in the title, they're sprinkles! Or at least that's what Lydia calls them, and it's too cute to correct. Just imagine yourself running free in a shower of the colorful ice cream sundae topping.

Well, I'm sure glad Ben figured out this irrigation system this year because, forget about the grass, it is so much fun on these hot summer days!

Lots to Say!

 Abigail has a lot to say these days in the form of gurgle-yacking, adorable and engaging gurgle-yacking.

Lydia has a lot to say too, and half of it comes out in song. I find her singing to herself some made-up song in her bed after her nap. At other times I hear, "What are you doing? (driving to the grocery store) What am I doing? (Sitting in your car seat)" While out walking the neighborhood last night, Lydia sings, "A-B-C--Twinkle twinkle little sta"--and then abruptly shouts, "I see a flower, I see a flower!!" Distractible and easily excited? Yes. Then she'll continue saying or singing whatever comes to her mind.
