Lydia is growing up and changing. She has transitioned from being awake and fussy to being awake and happy, and fussy and clingy before sleeping. On Friday, I thought we could go for a walk since she was refusing to be set down. I set her down in her carrier for two minutes so I could set the stroller up outside on the sidewalk, and she angily cried the whole time. Once the stroller was set, I rushed back in to get her, only to find her sound asleep. Today, she refused to be set down again, so I held her on my shoulder and read to her till she fell asleep.
I'm posting the following pictures because they crack Ben up. Here she is sitting in her froggy sleeper. Ooh...
...and SCARF!...in goes the hand.

Her hair is wild. Do they make baby pomade? Or is this the bedhead you were talking about?
I know. It's so unruly. I feel like cutting it!
Chomp, chomp--count her fingers!
Do not cut her hair; nothing a headband can't tame.
