Surfside Beach for Father's Day Weekend!

We heard Surfside Beach is clearer and better than Galveston. It's just and 1.5 hour drive and perfect for a Beach Day!
You can drive on the beach and park, but we parked at Stahlman Park. They had shade, showers and bathrooms! It was essential to have a shade (almost everyone had a canopy tent), and we still all ended up with sunburn.
But we spent a lot of time in the waves and the girls thought it was so fun!

Ben, out there, being an awesome dad.

The sand was smooth and of course it got everywhere.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

He does so many things for our family and makes it look easy.
Our protector, provider, fixer, and endless source of love.

Home Entertainment & Learning

Abby spends a lot of time coloring and painting, but we need a little more than that to keep us going.
With camps cancelled, it was time to invest in home entertainment and learning.

We got Atlas Crate, a monthly subscription that takes us around the world with crafts, recipes, games, etc.
This is a Russian game that has you setting up sticks in certain positions and knocking them down. The real version is much bigger.
We also go Annie's Creative Girl's Club subscription box.

We got Wii from a neighbor and now our living room feels like an arcade!

And close to home, the community pool got a new slide!
And we caved and bought a Chrome Book so the girls could do virtual summer school "Camp Elevate" at the same time. I really really hope we're not using it in the fall for school.
